Frieder Weichelt is the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Anchorage Digital, a position he has held since October 2022. In this role, he oversees the company's information security and risk management strategies. Prior to joining Anchorage Digital, Frieder served as the Chief Risk Officer at BitGo from 2018 to 2022. During his tenure at BitGo, he also held positions as Managing Director for BitGo's German entity and served on the Board of Directors for BitGo Trust Company, Inc. and BitGo New York Trust Company LLC. Before BitGo, Frieder worked as Deputy CRO/CCO at Neustar, Inc. Frieder holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from the University of Washington School of Law and completed the CRO Executive Education and Certification program at Carnegie Mellon University's Heinz College of Information Systems and Public Policy.
